          دوستان سلام. این راه حل میباشد ولی من نتوانستم آن را کاملا درک کرده و اجرا کنم. از دوستانی که میتوانند این متن را به فارسی برگرداننده و پست کنند متشکر میشوم.

          1. Tools to be installed in PC (Windows OS):

          a. iFunbox (Free)

          b. pList Editor for Windows (Free): it will open Apple binary file in plain text format. After editing, it will save the file to Apple binary format. Download from: Download iPod software for Windows

          2. Tool to be installed in iPad/iPhone/iPod

          a. iFile (in the Internet, the ipa format is not the correct one, download deb format instead).

          3. Sample dictionary: search "Oxford-zh.dictionary.zip" in Google to download and unzip it. It should be a folder, name of which ends with ".dictionary"

          4. Steps:

          a. use notepad to open info.plist file in the contents folder of the dictionary folder that you upzipped.

          b. find

          <key>CFBundleIdentifier</key>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string>

          and copy <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string> to the clipboard (memory). We will paste this line in another file later on.

          c. Connect iPad/iPod/iPhone to PC and run iFunbox

          d. Copy the dictionary folder ("Oxford-zh.dictionary") from PC to iPad/iPod/iPhone's folder: Raw File System>Library>Dictionaries. There are other built-in dictionaries, such as "Apple.Dictionary.dictionary" and etc.

          e. Run iFile in iPad/iPod/iPhone, navigate to Raw File System>var>mobile>Applications>iBooks>iBooks.app and find file BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.plist (in iBooks 1.2, it is now in Apple binary format and no longer in plain text format)

          f. Still in iFile, enter edit mode to zip BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.plist to BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.zip then use iFunbox to transfer it to PC. We don't directly transfer BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.plist through iFunbox as iFunbox will automatically convert it to plain text format, which is not what we want.

          g. Unzip BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.zip in PC and use pList Editor for Windows to open it.

          h. paste the line we copied from info.plist mentioned above to the editor and save the file(line shaded in yellow below):

          <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

          <!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">

          <plist version="1.0">

          <dict>

          <key>en</key>

          <array>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.21CECBD</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.langdao-ec-big5</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.NOAD</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.OAWT</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.AppleDictionary</string>

          </array>

          <key>ja</key>

          <array>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.Daijisen</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.ruig</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.PEJ-PJE</string>

          </array>

          <key>zh</key>

          <array>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.ACD</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.21CECBD</string>

          </array>

          <key>zh_cn</key>

          <array>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.ACD</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.21CECBD</string>

          </array>

          </dict>

          </plist>

          Side Note: if your custom dictionary is in other language, you can create your own node illustrated above like code snippet:

          <key>zh_cn</key>

          <array>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.ACD</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.oxld-gb</string>

          <string>com.apple.dictionary.21CECBD</string>

          </array>

          i. use iFunbox to transfer the edited file back to iPad/iPhone/iPod. path in iFunbox: Raw File System>var>mobile>Applications>iBooks>iBooks

          j. Restart iBooks and you now have an additional dictionary on top of default ones.

          Note: in earlier version of iBooks, BKDictionaryManager_LanguageToOrder.plist is in plain text (xml) format, which is much easier to modify. You use iFile to modify it directly in iPad/iPod/iPhone, or transfer it to PC to edit and transfer it back through iFunbox. It is up to you to use which method.
